Ted Brezel, MD is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He received his BA from the University of Rochester, where he graduated with honors. After completing a one-year fellowship doing biomedical research studying immunologic host response to Yellow Fever Virus, he began his medical studies at Downstate Medical Center.
There he distinguished himself by doing independent research on Melanoma, which was published in a medical journal. He presented this work at the Society of Investigative Dermatology.
After obtaining his medical degree he did a one-year internship at Montefiore Medical Center and his residency at Downstate Medical Center. Since that time he has been in private practice in New York.
Dr. Brezel has worked for over 25 years in the areas of medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. He has extensive experience, having performed, at last estimate, over 200,000 patient visits. Dr. Brezel treats each one of his patients like a member of the extended Glendale Dermatology family and takes a concerted interest in their long-term dermatological health.
When not working, Dr Brezel is an avid traveler and enjoys taking in the great outdoors.
